Review: Dog-Gone by Elliott James
This tale was more on par with what I've come to expect from this series; Elliott James' humorous writing style was more in evidence, and it also provided a few tidbits about the protagonist's past that went a long way in connecting it with the actual books. DOG-GONE was the first short that actually felt somewhat like a prequel! I enjoyed the author's interpretation of Death Hounds, and the necromancer elements were intriguing too. And, Charming's werewolf metabolism is no match for the common cold—who'd have thunk it. These five novellas should have been sold as a compilation instead of separately, but other than that, not bad.
