Rabid Reads

This audiobook shed some light on the mystery that is Alexander Reyes Farrow by giving listeners a brief overview of his childhood, and the evolution of his relationships with the various characters that make up this series. The tone of the story was miles apart from that of the full length installments; it was much darker, told from a male POV, and with limited snark. I really enjoyed the protagonist's interactions with his sister and his BFF, and seeing Charley through Reyes' eyes was a great opportunity to gain extra insight into one of my favourite heroines. I was also glad that they stuck with Lorelei King as the narrator; she's the main reason why I splurged on the audio instead of the much cheaper eBook.
